Egyptian Museum
Today we set ourselves the task of visiting the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. We started early in a vain attempt to miss the crowds. As you would expect it was all heaving with guided tours. Even though it was her second visit Karen was mesmerised. The ground floor was filled with colossal granite and limestone carved artefacts. The first floor was mainly devoted to Tutankhamun and the Royal mummies. Photography was strictly prohibited and there were plenty of people with guns to enforce this. So here is a picture of the outside of the building.
